Hello,
My name is Bram Conings, born in 1987 and based in Belgium, near the North Sea coast.
Nature has fascinated me since childhood, but it was during my studies that this fascination truly took hold. Spending countless hours in the field, I discovered a particular love for mammals, amphibians, and the sea with its inhabitants.
Photography became my way of capturing the beauty that amazes me. Over the years, I’ve developed a preference for documenting species that are difficult to find or photograph. It’s a challenge that requires preparation, habitat knowledge, an understanding of behaviour, and many hours outdoors, making the process highly explorative and deeply rewarding.
Beyond the nature near home, I travel across Europe in search of wildlife. Wild coasts, towering mountains, and deep caves become my playgrounds. Places that fuel my energy, put me in a state of flow, and keep my passion alive.
“The beauty of nature led me to photography“
